Maybe it's his technique, but it just looked like the O lineman made that a lot more awkward than it should have been.

Nope, it's called football not try hard until you're about to hit somebody ball.

Also, if Luke didn't try to go under him...

You see what i did there?  I made a dumbass statement like you're putting out.

LOOK!  I'm not saying it's a dirty play, but it's about as close as you can get without it being one.

That was a textbook pull, from pop Warner football to the NFL. Everyone runs it, it's not close to dirty.

Textbook pull?  Put both of your hands on one of your opponents shoulders and drive as hard as possible into the ground.  Really???

Yes, it's called blocking, you haven't seen much of it this year from our o line, but that's how most people block.

Edit: Often referred to as a "Pancake" or "OHA (on his ass)" block.

Look again elbow was at facemask level. Yes the OL hamd was on the shoulder but look again.

I just slow motion watched it over and over again with freeze framing. The first head shot might be 50/50, but the last one looks intentional, and even though he looks away he knew damn well what he was doing. I defy anyone to unequivocally prove that both moves were pure football sans malicious intent, and yeah I'm pissed, but I watched objectively.
