And it's not merely all short stuff.  He's hitting career-high completion percent on passes of 15+ yards too, per David Newton.  You can see his accuracy on long balls in his week 5 passing chart.

Red does worry about our opinions of players way too much, but the threads around here about cam were pretty ridiculous a few weeks back
