Most exciting game in over a year?

It is for me, based on how completely shitty it was for the NFL to send the Panthers to Denver for the opener.

Win the NFC Championship and don't get a home opener is bad enough. Have to play the game just after the Superbowl banner is unveiled is just moronic.

The NFL screwed us last year. I felt like that was the most important game of the season and having that as our opener was just criminal. Deep down I still feel that if Gano made that kick we were destined for a 12-4 ish season.

This year I think the pats game was more hype / important. Lose that and it changes the entire outlook of the season. If we lose on a Thursday to the Eagles I don’t think it is the end of the world. If it is a total blowout though I’ll be concerned.

I just don't agree with this. Having a SB rematch opening night in the winner's place is a perfect opening night. Every single time. Complete Bullsh(t that Atlanta didn't have to do it as well but that is absolutely how it should be. We just needed to win, and not be such a poor mental team to quit after losing one fuging game.

Cam taking all those hits and Gano missing the game winner were two of the most deflating things that happened to us all year.

last year the excitement was more about the chip still on the shoulder from having been screwed out of a real shot to win the lombardi by the bronco fans wearing the black and white stripes.

this year is more like 2015 for me and each game, so far, has been the most exciting one. well..heading into new england was kind of subdued because i wasn't sure what team was going to show up, but for the most part it's all been fun.

i'm a bit antsy for each game, but that's kind of exciting about it, too.

these last two weeks has given me a really good idea of what we should be expecting and philly is getting a lot of love because they're one of the hot teams at the moment, but so were the lions last week and the pats the week before that.

we keep knocking them down and we're going to do it again this week.

Cam being banged up is one thing. But the impact on the rest of the players seeing him getting hit if true is a complete joke. And wow your kicker missed a game winner, get over it and play on. It may be overblown around here and in the media that that game sealed our fate that year, and I hope it is and we just weren't that good for various reasons that year. But if there's any truth to it then that's a joke for the players and coaches.

I would like to ammend my statement. Last week was uber exciting for me personally. Playing the Lions scared me. If we win, we are heading in the right direction, especially the way Cam is playing. If the Lions win, I still have a first place team to root for. Win win for me.

I am a Panther fan first and always. But I still love my Lions.
