Most exciting game in over a year?

Is it just me or is this the most exciting game in over a year? More excitement than any game last year, including the opener in Denver.

I bet the NFL is happy to finally get an attractive Thursday night matchup.  Thursday night ratings have been poo again this year, I wonder if they'll be higher for two 4-1 teams?

Agreed!

My wife and I are both re arranging our work schedules so we can watch live.  5:25 PDT is a bitch to make for a live game on the west coast so we started planning/re arranging after that W in Detroit.

Going to BBQ get some beers and do it up nice.

Even got some new swag coming for the kids.

Well I mean the Patriots and Bucs were supposed to be exciting, but that turned into a snooze fest. Thursday night games are always overhyped and underwhelm, and the ones we expect to be bad become good out of nowhere.

Would not be surprised to see this turn into a defensive struggle for both offenses.

This is no where close to last seasons opener imo.

It is for me, based on how completely shitty it was for the NFL to send the Panthers to Denver for the opener.

Win the NFC Championship and don't get a home opener is bad enough. Have to play the game just after the Superbowl banner is unveiled is just moronic.

I believe this game won't live up to expectations. Thursday night games are just horrible because of the short week and seem to include too many injuries. This will be a sloppy game that we will come out on top, but it won't be pretty.

With that said, I'm taking both Thursday and Friday off :shades:

    • I maybe huffin the hopuim too much for the defense during 2 games winning.   If DJ played like that each game(??), DBrown, Turlte, ARob(who's been like Dbrown), clowny   That's a solid front 5, or is it too much homer huffin??   Then Jewell and Shaq   Again solid, not trash or elite.   Horn(heathly) Mike Jackson. Dane Jackson, Woods, and Fuller   I swear the "solid" enough feels are here again   Of course Id love to drop a elite edge and have DJ come off the bench or another stud CB, but I swear if that group was 100% healthy I feel they'd be around 18th best. (yes still need a true NT).  Please correct me.
    • You are probably right, but as long as he goes to Dallas, and not here, it will be fun to watch.  Or better yet, New Orleans.
    • And it just made sense after spending on the guards to shore up the interior for years. Instead they took an injured player at a position they were set at. Panthers gonna panther
