Team Stats Update Through Week 5

#2 Offense in Total 3rd Downs Converted (Eagles are far and away #1...) 

#6 Defense (based on total yards allowed)

# 8 in total first downs allowed (Tied with Eagles) 

# 10 (multi team tie for 3rd downs allowed) 

# 3 Defense in Total Sacks (17 , Tied with Chargers and Stealers, #2 Bengals, #1 Jacksonville with 20)

 

Individual Stats for Players 

Not much to speak of, outside of Cam and Peppers. Cam is # 10 in total passing yards , #12 in total QBR ,  #9 in passing TDs (4 way tie with R.Wilson, Brees, and Eli)  , Cam is #4 in completion percentage , #3 in passing yards per attempt, #8 in QB rating. Peppers is #5 in the league in sacks (Tied with Justin Houston from Kansas City) . Luke is in the top 10 in total tackles as always. No WR/RBs on our team have great individual stats.

Not sure if I should create a separate thread, but I checked out some receiving stats:

Christian McCaffrey is #8 in NFL in Yards after catch (191 YAC) That's out of 237 total receiving yards, so his YAC is 80.6%

McCaffrey is tied for 14th in the NFL in receptions (27).  He leads ALL rookies in receptions and receiving yards.

In terms of other interesting receiving stats, Ed Dickson & Kelvin Benjamin are both way up there in terms of % of receptions going for 1st downs.

Ed is tied for 7th with 9 of 11 receptions (81.8%) for 1st downs

Kelvin is tied for 14th with 13 of 17 receptions (76.5%) or 1st downs.  

Really clutch.  Loving this!

Some more receiving stats:

KB is tied for 5th in the league (along with guys like AB, Crabtree, D Jackson) in terms of # of BIG CATCHES (25+ yards).  He has 4.

Devin Funchess is the team leader and tied for 4th in the NFL in terms of # of 3rd down catches converted for 1st downs (he has 7).  Funch is tied with guys like Gronk & Larry Fitzgerald.  Pretty awesome company....!
