You're right, and that's because colleges have moved on to the next generation on offense whereas the majority of NFL teams still want to pretend its the 1970's.

Yeah, I wonder why anyone hasn't tried that no huddle stuff that that Chip Kelly guy used to run. I bet that would work great!

(there is a reason teams don't run the nextgen college stuff in the nfl)

Yeah, "that'll never work".

Which is always the case... until it does.

#2 OL... LOL!

PFF is a fun resource to use sometimes, but oftentimes they come forth with analysis that is just indefensible.

Our OL seemingly can't both run block and pass protect in the same game. If our run blocking is solid, Cam is running for his life. If our pass protection is solid, Stew is running into a wall of defenders.

Recently the pass blocking has been good. But the run blocking has been ass for the most part. Stew is one of the strongest RBs in the league and he's getting stopped for losses consistently b/c theres like 2-3 defenders in the backfield already by the time he touches the football.

Run blocking needs improvement for sure, have kept clean pockets that last two weeks. Cam was partially responsible for the first three weeks.

Won’t matter how good the line is, running game will struggle until we stop running the ball every first down.

and id also like to see more outside runs with McCaffrey. Dude had 3 carries last game when stew was getting like 1.3 ypc . Need to use your first round RB a bit more than that in my opinion.

Yep,  it all works together.  Get the ball out slow and give the Dline more time to get there and the Oline sucks. Give less time and they are great all of a sudden.

it all works that way, DB vs Dline etc.

our offense has finally looked "evolved" and hopefully that continues.

Phili should be a really good barometer, win or lose.

Last week, it seems like they forgot CMC was even on the team. I fully get the whole decoy thing, but if you don't use him, that goes out the window. To make myself feel better, I'm going with hopes that it's a clever ploy by Shula to set up the Eagles for a nice CMC surprise or two (touchdowns).
