Why didn't the refs call delay of game on gano's missed FG?

I bet even some of the most honest people in the world....lie, from time to time. The money is there and if you are in a position to tweak the outcome, it has to be very tempting. especially with that mortgage coming up...

If you want to make a case of the refs cheating, just watch how they spot the ball.  That is a pretty subjective thing, and if a ref was dirty and wanted to impact the game he could give his team an extra 50 yards of field position with it.

You can't dismiss it either though.    There is a lot of weird stuff in the NFL.    They keep terrible refs around, for what reason?    It's in their best interests to keep games close and keep people watching.    The league is pretty much like 95% profit sharing, so every team makes out from it.
