Will Cam have enough recovery time before Thursday?

It's obvious that the lack of practice, rust, and injury recovery are the primary factors that were holding Cam back. It's been great to see the MVP again in the past 2 weeks.  Is anyone else concerned that his shoulder won't have adequate time to recover before Thursday?

Obviously I want Cam to play well in the national spotlight in an important game against a quality opponent, but I'm also concerned about long-term wear and tear if he's not given adequate time to recover.

In the end I guess there's not much we can do about it. It's not like we're going to bench Cam and throw The-Shell-Of-Former-Pro-Bowl-QB Derek Anderson out there. Just expressing some concern and maybe tempering expectations of what to see and definitely preparing myself to not overreact if Cam has a rough week.

I think Cam will be fine since he didn't take a beating like he did against the Bills and he talked about his arm getting stronger in his post-game press conference. I'm more concerned about veteran players and guys that were nursing injuries the past week.

    • well, I supported the Panthers taking a swing at QB.  I still think that was the right call.   But just because you hit a foul ball and didn't get what you thought.....doesn't mean you got to triple down on it and try to manifest it somehow working out.   I mean, clearly we missed on what we thought Bryce was/is.   Now can he be serviceable? I think so.  But there really is little point in pretending he is going to be better than a serviceable starter.   Which isn't what the gamble/swing was for.
    • Yes we are near the bottom of the league in average yards per completion with 9.8. The Broncos are at 9.9. Guess who is also at 9.9? The Chiefs.
    • We'll see how Bryce continues to grow. Give him props and criticism when his play deserves it. Build the rest of the team and if he ends up being the piece holding the team back then, that's when you can find your replacement. For now, he's shown that he can learn and grow.
