you didnt see the panthers first round running back using his presence to open up running lanes?

No, but I did see him get one of only 3 rushing first downs in the game (Cam got at least one of the others, maybe both).

Rivera and Shula have to be the most stubborn pair of coaches ever. Cam should throw 35 times a game and open up the running game through the pass

Which is exactly what the rules of the NFL are set up to encourage.

Which means that the "run first" philosophy, in todays NFL, puts you at a DISadvantage.

I just got out my calculator and did the math.. That's only 1 yard per carry.. No bueno

was a little skeptical of this so I spent a few hours doing a deep dive on advanced mathematical theory and can confirm this number

You cannot call yourself a "powerhouse running team" if you can't even muster up over 10 yds at the end of games. I just watched the Cowboys POUND their way with Zeke to what looked like a game winning TD (hahahahahaha Cowboys). They literally imposed their will on the Packers and just ran it straight down their mouth at the end of the game. THAT is the definition of a powerhouse running team. The question will forever be what "could have been" if we built our team around Cam from the start and went to a pass first offense with a legit OC.
