BSP? Best of the *realistic* free agency pool next year?

So i was looking at the 2010 NFL Free Agents QB list for next year and of all the REALISTIC free agent QB's Brain St. Pierre looked the best out of all of them. What do you guys think of the list? Obviously T. Jackson is an option but he really wouldn't help us win imo. BSP looked pretty great in pre-season action and is behind their current QB and QB of the future but he looked to be beating out that "QB of the Future" in preseason.

I don't think that list is very accurate---- they've got Jake listed as a free agent, and we all know that is not true. My hope is that Kevin Kolb ends up going the Matt Cassel route and Philly can't keep both Kolb and McNabb. We swoop in and land an underrated qb in his prime.

Kolb could end up being the next Matt Schaub, or he could be a pretender, i havent seen enough of him too judge, but he has looked impressive lately. St. Pierre, are you kidding id rather have Vick, and thats saying something..if it comes down to St. Pierre being our future QB than just keep jake until his contracts done or let Moore play..

I'm still hoping for Quinn...

the hell are you talking about? that list is static regardless if people have signed or not, yes, the 6-year RFA will throw a monkey wrench but if thats the case we will be fuged unless we again trade more of next years picks for what the fug ever we need. (Which looks like at this point a Free Safety, WR, and QB)

    • I find it interesting that TMac was shown here practicing without gloves.  Is that a new approach to improving hands because the gloves are so sticky?   If you think about the draft and evaluated the talent at each position and rate them by round, you see what the Panthers did--get the best WR in the draft.  in round 2, you had WRs like Bech and Tre Harris going--meanwhile, the Panthers grabbed Scourton (late first round grade) and Princely (expected to be drafted in the middle of the second round).   Bech and Harris were projected to be third rounders.   If you evaluate the draft by your expectations of the performance of the talent, you are guessing and trying for clicks.  However, if you understand the depth of talent at each position and align that with needs,  the strategy becomes the issue--not a subjective guess.  Did the Panthers address WR and Edge wisely, considering the players likely to be available?  Yes.   Ask yourself this:  In the Panther system, is it possible that Scourton would be a better edge than Walker?  I think he is a better fit.  Princely?  Better fit.   Morgan had an excellent draft.  When you see Ransom play S, you will be convinced that it was a Home Run.  That pick was solid and he will be here for a long time.
    • Wasn't sure where to put this; can't start a new thread.  Anyone paying attention to the CWS?  Tarheels cruise in first two games, set up regional championship with fully rested bullpen and tons of momentum.   On the road to Omaha!
    • Or it could be because we are building a pretty good team that is going to compete.  But I expect us to win the division this year.
