Voth is probably my favourite. Generally right about most things and isn't afraid to tell it like it is. Most importantly, his sarcasm gets me through the day.

JJ was very good when he was here but I didn't like the direction he took when he left. Everything always seems to come back to Kaepernick/protests and it has become a little tiresome (even though I agree with him on most issues).

Jourdan is alright. Fun personality and writing but don't think she's some 'football savant'  that everyone is making her out to be. She's fine, does her job.

gantt was overrated. he was good early on, but turned into a prick in the last year or two. had no use for him and still don't. he's exactly where he needs to be, working with florio.

fowler hasn't done anything relevant for years. i forgot he was even at the observer until a couple weeks ago.

reed has done a good job of rebuilding his credibility these past few years. pretty solid.

newton is and always has been garbage. he can't tell beans from taters as far as football goes.

and if person was anymore stupid he'd have to be watered twice a week, but even with that he's looking for the low hanging fruit clicks. he doesn't care about the game.

i don't know about voth anymore. is he turning into a company man? i don't know. he was head and shoulders above anyone else for several years.

joseph jones was great. loved reading his stuff. i hated that he got another job somewhere else, but happy that he got that opportunity. he deserved it.

for the flack she's gotten since yesterday, jourdan really knows the game and it seems like she doesn't just have a passion for it, she's a football nerd. i've heard interviews with her (including the one jeremy did on his podcast) and listened to her blog and she is probably the most knowledgeable one we've had in a long time. granted the bar hasn't been real high, but she's been pretty legit.

    • I didn't say I would have done it. I was just saying that I can see why some in the FO considered it. Everything was done to give Bryce weapons. Solidify the interior line thru FA. Get XL at WR in round 1 and then get the most talented RB in round 2. Take a TE in round 4, etc They were probably "assuming" he'd make a complete recovery during the 2024 season. I'm a skeptical person. I wouldn't have assumed he'd be ok in 2024. I personally would have taken another position in the 2nd for that very reason. But, if I were "influenced" to take him I would've argued to keep him off the field, especially seeing how things were going for us record wise. Conventional Wisdom says most backs don't get back to normal until two years after the ACL surgery. He was injured in Fall 2023. Having him suit up in 2025 would have been almost 2 years since the original injury. You have him for 3 year on low contract. If he balls out, you resign him for a couple of more years b/c he'd only have 3 years of tread on the tires. If he's ok but not great you let him walk.
    • Not sure who would end up at QB but could you imagine a front 7 of Star, Short, Ealy/Addison, Von Miller, Luke, TD and Shaq in 2015? Miller would have been deadly having 11 sack Short on the interior with Star. That would have been a crazy fun D to watch.
    • Of course you can laugh at the Failcunts. But we are a comedy of errors as well, just saying.
