QB's we've left to face

Made me curious about who we play going forward, QB-wise:

5) Stafford - based on cursory examination of recent news articles, Stafford has been hot and cold this season. He can certainly be dangerous, but can also be a liability to his team. Panthers need to have a plan to turn him into more the latter than the former. The Vikings had 6 sacks and that seemed to work pretty well, even though it was all for naught.

6) Wentz - in articles about the Eagles, it seems like Wentz is taking the next step in his game... to become an above-average game manager. Thats no slight to him. its just Eagles media seems preoccupied with other playmakers on their team. he isnt standing out among his teammates as a superstar. but he isnt doing anything detrimental either. in other words, do no underestimate.

7) Trubisky - rookie. but has earned the start, i guess. or is that due to Glennon's suck? reserve the right to reserve judgment until before this game lol.

8) Crab Cakes (away) - ah, inconsistent Famous Jameis. another do not underestimate, based solely on the fact that they are in Tampa and swept us last year. but then again, im sure Jameis will Jameis in some way.

9) 28-3 (home) - beatable. we've done it plenty of times. especially in our house. the Bears nearly did it. the Bills just did. color me not impressed. hit him hard, early, and often and he'll melt faster than he did in the Super Bowl.

10) Cutler - BAhahahahahah pfffaahahahahaha. no. the Dolphins are turrible.

11) Bye - im pretty sure we will handily take care of business bigly against this opponent.

12) J. McCown - the last time the Panthers faced Josh McCown was our series against the Bucs in 2014. McCown started both games. He sucked in both games. Meh.

13) Breezus (away) - had his way with our defense two weeks ago. i doubt the result will be the same when we invade the Syphilis Dome again this year. Brees will still get his, but i think the embarrassment he gave us plus adding Jairus Byrd today tips the scales in favor of our defense.

14) Bradford - dont want to underestimate this QB and offense. reserving judgment on this one. 

15) Discount Double-Check - its Aaron Rodgers. we made him look human for a whole game back in 2015. and this one is at home too. our defense should be settling in at this point. i think, like Breezus, he gets his but not enough.

16) Crab Cakes (home) - at home against Mr. Inconsistent. i like our odds.

17) 28-3 (away) - for whatever reason, we havent been able to beat Matty Melt in his house in a few years. certainly not last year :( but who knows, if we have him figured out in Charlotte this year, maybe we can figure him out in Atlanta.

 

RECAP: we play alot of serviceable to really good QBs this year. our defense has a tough, but not insurmountable task. If we can contain a Tom Brady offense, we can do it to Brees, Ryan, and Rogers. If we can do it to them, then we can do it to all the other scrubs below them.

Regarding #12: You are thinking of Luke McCown. I don't remember the last time we played against Josh - given that he's played for pretty much every team in the league.

Came here to post the exact same thing.  Remember that Luke McCown commercial that was running a couple years ago?  A Verizon ad I think it was, lol

If Cam plays like we all know he can and the offense doesn't shoot its self in the foot, there's no reason we should lose more than 4 games

We have more of a challenge in our own division with three teams that have above average qb’s. If we can’t find a way to slow down those offenses then it’s going to be tough to win the division... Might be tough to outscore them
