He would have made 8 mill this year, so they let him go.

 

No doubt, this is a huge bargain signing at this point.  It's not very often that you can sign a guy with his experience, his talent, and yet still, young enough to still have some upside in October.  I wanted to get him when he left Buffalo,  but better late than never.  Good move by Hurney.

That being said, if he is healthy, and was coming on strong to end last season, why hadn't any other team signed him yet?  I wonder if it was money?  So, do we know how much he's getting here?

Regardless, good signing.  Excited to have him...
