Nitpick - The defense isn't creating turnovers and Rivera is still playing not to win

I am less concerned with the lack of turnovers forced than the turnovers we have committed.  Its really an interesting stat and a rare occurrence that we have one of the worst turnover ratio's at this point, yet one of the best records in the NFC.    Bodes well for the future if we can turn it around, or poorly if we don't.

Well I am assuming this topic is discussing the final two plays of the game that were QB sneaks. At that point you are easily in Gano's range, barring he doesn't hook it left. So I would be really hesitant to take a shot and risk a sack or interception. Especially if the game is tied and we have the ability to run the clock all the way down.

Agreed.  I think the staff played it perfectly at the end.  Run the ball to move forward and run enough time off to ensure that you have a shot to win it at the end, while Brady does not.  And position it perfectly.  Maybe they learned their lesson irt giving it to him with 28 seconds left at the end of the first half.

The only flaw I see in their reasoning is that I had little or no confidence in Gano.  Fortunately, I was wrong.  :)

And drew fugin Brees. They don't get to the hall of fame by playing poorly

Thats why you dont go soft zone because they will eat you alive. You play how you played all game..Just inagine if the guy had not gotten that penalty on defense twice ..we would have lost because there is no josh norman on our team to save us...thought he would have learned..im just tired of watching the same poo..we were lucky this time..

I was honestly fine with the decision to play for a field goal on the last drive. It was a tie game within Gano's range. Run the clock down and go for the win, minimize the risk. Someone has already said it but I could 100% have seen a sack upcoming if we went for the jugular, which probably would have taken us out of field goal range.

It's like nobody watched the Super Bowl last year. The Falcons tried to get aggressive against the Patriots late in the game with a lead. How'd that go?

48 yards.. That's not a chip shot.  A few more yards would have been nice.. Especially with our kicker.  Am I living in bizarro world?

Why are you thinking sack or interception instead of TD?

Cam was lighting them up, I trust Cam more than I trust Gano

Yall are tired if winning?

? Lets not be too smart.  We got lucky at the end the 2 penalties each on third down gave us first down..we were not in field goal range at hat point...if that had not happen we would have surely loss bc he would have gotten in the prevent and instead of us kicking the field goal it would have been Patriots..and then everyone would have said he gots to go Rivera.

I just wish he would grow some balls if we loose at least he let his nuts swang in there face.

He made a 48 yard field goal and missed an extra point (and almost missed another extra point).  I am not sure the distance really mattered.  :)

They were going up against a terrible pass rush yesterday.

The Pats were getting pretty decent pressure on Newton in the 4th quarter, especially when Turner went out.

Turner was back in on the final drive but still not worth the risk.

The risk of scoring a TD? We punted once all game

It seems you trust Gano more than Cam
