The only passes I even remember being bad were the INT (forcing), throwing over CMC, and maybe that one Dickson didn't get that was a bit too far out.

The one that Funchess had to make a defensive play on could have been a killer.  But those kind of things happen to just about any qb.

THe running keeps the DL honest. If they know he might run forward instead of spinning backwards into a sack they can’t just play edge rusher go fast around the tackles. Amazing we finally realized that again.

Normally, I would agree with you.  However, I think yesterday it was just the opposite.  We shredded the patriots in the second quarter with our passing.  Cam didn't run it very often.  The Patriots adjusted, did a slightly better job defending our receivers, but allowed Cam to do more designed runs in the second half.

He played a smart game yesterday outside the INT. I liked how he pulled a aaron Rodgers and took a deep shot to funch when we caught them offsides that one play. For the first time since he has been here i actually caught myself saying how he was checking the ball down a lot. Nothing was there so he wasnt forcing things. Great job in all aspects.

And I've always said that stuff watching him at Camp. If he would take checkdowns when it's necessary, who the hell can stop him ? Nobody.

I have to agree with this. Finally, an offense that looked "evolved".

What was evolved? Was the same plays we've ran for years, only a defense that couldn't stop it. Even the double screen we ran is an old play that usually goes to Olsen

Having elusive backs with speed getting those plays now is a big difference. Other than that i agree.

I want to believe that the int was Cam thinking it was going to be pass interference. Byrd was getting jostled between two defenders all the way downfield. I've seen pi called for way less contact.

Funch was wide freaking open but if the pi was called it's still a 25+ yard gain.

And the safety impeded his route, I put a lot of poo on Cam, but that most certainly wasn't on Cam or Byrd, it was a missed PI call

I saw the exact same thing.  Went to post it in the game day thread but everyone was "Cam sucks" so I was like naaaa  fug it.

There was a series of plays in the 4th where Cam kept taking the check down. I found it to be very impressive. Not that I ever thought he couldn't check it down, but because I know how hard it is for him not to pull the trigger and take the deeper routes.

You could almost hear Cams thought process. His battle within himself during a play and whether or not to check it down.

There was a play were he really wanted KB. He actually was dialed in on KB, came off of him briefly to locate his check down,  zoomed back in on KB, and came off him again to took the check down.

Now that was impressive.

It was nice to see him have the time to make those reads.
