Kudos to Dickson

Ed Dickson had a pretty good day against the Pats and he definitely deserves some credit for his part in the win. Three catches for 62 yards is a respectable outing for any TE1 and his blocking was on point for the majority of the game. And on Fozzy's touchdown, Dickson was the second option and was equally open for the score.

He's caught a lot of flack in recent times, but let's face it -- Greg Olsen is a mighty hard act to follow. But it sure is good we've got Ed Dickson on the team.

I will say he is a better pass catching TE than he is a blocking one.

Yeah for once he didn't completely suck.  Let's hope he continues to earn his paycheck.

I've been critical of him in the past, particularly his blocking, but I'll give him credit. Still not great, but he really seems to have improved that area of his game and is getting the job done.

He was TE15 in PPR and beat guys like Jack Doyle and Delanie Walker. Not sure I'd call him a TE1 yet, maybe more of a high end TE2.

Yeah, that's fantasy. I meant regular football. He did well enough to start on a number of teams. He's a good guy to have on the team and he certainly rose to the occasion.
