Time for Duke?

We already have wr's that we don't use.  Why sign Philly if he rarely if ever sees the field?  We have Samual who, when healthy, rarely gets any looks and Shepard who for some reason never gets any looks his way either.  WR is not an issue.  Getting targets is the issue.

Samuel was out, so 0.

Byrd was injured early.

I’m unsure what you’re getting at here?

I'm getting at that that it's highly unlikely they're going to bring in a WR who isn't on the team to take the limited reps Byrd would get, especially when that WR doesn't play ST. And especially when Coleman is down and they'll need secondary help.

@RoaringRiot we’re not going to go into Detroit with KB, Funch, Shep as our only “healthy” wideouts.

Even Funch was banged up yesterday.

Signing Philly (while not ideal) is a likely scenario at this time.

Funch just had cramps and he played through them. He's fine. Samuel's injury shouldn't linger. Again....Southward makes MUCH more sense than grabbing Philly off his couch

I’m only advocating Brown assuming Samuel is still banged up. Hopefully he is good to go this week.

It's really going to depend on 1) Coleman's injury. Reports last night were that it isn't season sending and may be only a few weeks so they wouldn't IR him. And 2) if Samuel is back on the field this week.
