I feel like someone's going to say this game determines what we are the season at least every week every game until we are Least at week 12

not really. Should have a pretty good idea of what kind of team we are a little over halfway through the season in week 9 after we play Lions, Eagles, Bears, Bucs, and Falcons, none of which are scrub teams in the least.  Especially important is if we can win those divisional games since we already lost our first one to the saints, those are huge even if we win all 3 games before those.

stop. no.

Lions defense has been rather lucky. Only decent offense they faced were the Falcons, and the Falcons predictably won even with their large sample of mistakes.

I'm not worried about that defense at all. Sure, better Dline than the Patriots, but worse than the Saints imo.

Their offense has also been lucky in terms of Stafford getting breaks. Vikings started cracking open Stafford this weekend, we'll likely see more of that from the Panthers defense.

Oh, and Julius Peppers getting 3+ sacks on OT Greg Williams lol. Our defense is going to murder him.

Not only that but they have been quite healthy until last week. They will be fielding a two backup Gs against KK and that's never a good thing for a Oline. They also lost 2 Lbs on defense. Seems both teams will need good play from there depth.
