the panthers have been force feeding him for three games to little or no effect

Well if he gets 10 yards per game and can still have that effect I guess I'll take it. If you think he played no role in the win then we watched two different games.

So why were the Pats keyed on him on Fozzy's TD play?

If he were having "little to no effect" they would have pretty much ignored him.

I mean, think of a guy like Bersin, who truly had little to no effect during his career. Imagine him taking CMC's place on that play. You think 4 NE defenders would have keyed on him?

So either, yes, they were worried about him, or no, Bill B. had them key on him just for the hell of it.

Fiz actually has a fair point here.  He just exaggerates too much.  It wasn't just because of who the player was it was how we were using him I believe is the point.

Edit:  Or it's just the benefit of the doubt for me.

But the point is, opposing coaches, whether right or wrong, are afraid of what he can do.

If they weren't, they wouldn't be keying on him.

If that's the main point you were making forgive me for misunderstanding you.

I mean c'mon man. When was the last time any of us saw a Defense shift like that. That end zone view was amazing. Every defender was headed CmCs direction. I personally, have never seen anything close to that in my life.

That many defenders?  Very rarely though it's happened before.  It was a great setup.

i agree not using CMC is a good move.

Are you here to troll or whats going on? If you can't see how big of an impact CMC has on the offense, then its sounding like you don't know a whole lot about football lol.. Oohhhh you probably drafted him in fantasy football and now your panties are all bunched up because he's not putting up crazy numbers! That makes a bit more sense.

Anyways yeah its unfortunate he hasn't been able to break anything big, but he's still a piece of the puzzle. Either teams are going to keep over-committing to him and we can abuse them that way or we'll see what CMC is made of. No need to be in such a rush to call people busts, especially after their 4th game in their rookie season because it just makes you look foolish.

I'm not sure what he's trying to do either. Seems like he's actively rooting against McCaffrey

Anyone who saw Fozzy's touchdown and still doesn't understand what CMC brings to the table is well within the spectrum.

The whole defense rotated towards CMC.  My 14 month old daughter could have scored with the amount of space Fozzy had.  It was an amazing play and fooled the crap out of New England's defense.

CMC had at least two catches for first downs that I can recall.  In traffic and getting popped pretty good after the catch.  He is only going to get better.
