cmc still doing nothing lol

Stew still getting most of the carries and teams are gameplanning against stopping McCaffrey .

I'll admit he's looked much better receiving than he has at rushing the football. I think some of his rushing troubles is the fact that hes getting 8, 4, and 6 carries in recent games hes played. If you're a running back and getting less than 10 carries per game and only rushing sparingly theres no time to get into a rythm  in my opinion. I don't think I can judge his running ability that well unless he was getting 15-20 carries a game and being used as the lead back . Because right now he's just being used everywhere on the field whether it be slot, out wide, hb, and i saw him take a fb snap this past game, and even a wildcat. He probably just wont have crazy rushing stats unless he breaks a few long gainers this season , hes not getting the ball that much in terms of running.

I mean jesus christ dude

what exactly is the problem here?

The offense isn't in full swing of the things at the moment. He's been great. Honestly, the panthers have a bunch of talent so some players will get more than others from game to game. He'll be great for us, he's the ultimate offensive weapon. Runs better routes the receivers, plays RB, quick burst, and can stop on a dime. He'd be best utilized in a 3-4WR 1Rb set. I'm more upset at Mike Shulas coordinator position than anything else. The play calling can be extremely conservative considering all the talent. Only thing I'm upset about is Curtis Samuel not getting work. The guy is going to be great. I just don't get it. I know the injury held him back, but Shula isn't the man for this offense. We need a zone blocking spread/vertical offense. Cam Newton looked great today. Samuel must get touches soon!!! KeepPounding

Just using his current stats he's on pace for 356 rushing yards and also 88 receptions for 824 receiving yards for 1180 total yards and that's not even taking into consideration everything he'll get with KR and PRs and what he does for the team blocking and just being a distraction for opposing teams defenses.

With the way we're using McCaffrey, you cant really just look at him purely in running back terms. He doesnt get enough carries to be considered or viewed like any other feature back, its more like hes spelling stew with the amount of carries hes getting

CMC drew no fewer than four defenders to the side he ran to leaving the entire other side of the field wide open. I replayed it twice just for the laughs, and to try and convince myself that Shula might just be starting to comprehend how to use him. The former worked. The latter, not so much.

Samuel was injured for this game correct? CMC was playing mainly slot receiver in this game and probably why fozzy was getting a ton of plays this game.

This game was actually kinda important I think in terms of the team showing that we can exploit other teams pretty bad when they over commit to McCaffrey. If we keep doing what we did against the Patriots teams will eventually have to comit less men to him and his stats will probably see a good uptick in the 2nd half of the season I'm betting.

I dont know if it will happen but if he ever gets 15-20 carries a game and starts being used more like the lead back, he'll naturally get more yards rushing and more chances at breaking some runs. I bet after his first couple years when Stew is gone and McCaffrey becomes the lead back he'll be padding stats alot more.

Wasn't necessarily talking about the game today. Just what I've seen so far this year!

He does a lot of things that go unoticed. He has been succcessful in every aspect except for trying to run up the middle. The lanes haven't been there for him. Also you have to imagine the game speed is a little fast for him right now. I expect it to slow down for him eventually and he will really get going

His blocking both pass and run was really good this game. It was one many were questioning during the draft process because of his size.
