cmc still doing nothing lol

I want to see our coaching staff just once give CMC 10 carries inside the hashes.

He's been used on stretch plays and passing downs mostly so it should be fairly easy for defense's to key in on how to stop CMC, yet they haven't been able to.

We need to quit using him like Sproles and start using him like McCoy.

Poster worthy

Check out the end zone cam behind Cam. It's really good. I think it's on panthers.com. If not, it's on YouTube for NFL.com. I swear if I was Cam, I couldn't have made that throw because I would have been laughing my ass off just like I did in my recliner when it happened.

Deshaun Watson will end up being rookie of the year. He has completely changed the Texans since taking over for savage

It's a long season and anything can happen but Watson just put the rookie class on notice.  I'm sure d coordinators are noticing too.  One thing is for certain this class of rookies look to have quite a few good players making an impact so far.

I'll admit it is pissing me off that other NFL fans keep fuging with me saying he's not good at running the ball . I've seen some good runs from him every game if you actually watch the game and not little snippets of highlights and just skim the boxscore like im assuming alot of other NFL fans are doing. He's getting some very low rushing attempts per game recently (only 4 against the Saints and 6 against the Patriots) and its difficult for anyone to amass 70+ yard rushing games with such low attempts unless hes constantly breaking long gainers.

Yeah Kareem Hunt looks like a bad ass but he's also averaging twice the amount of carries as McCaffrey (15.7 carries for Hunt on average compared to 7.8 average carries for McCaffrey , and averaging only 6 carries a game over the past 3 games) . You can bet your ass if McCaffrey was used as the lead back and getting 15-20 carries a game  he'd be cashing in the rushing yards as well.

They are also selectively ignoring the fact that McCaffrey has looked great receiving the football. On pace for over 800 receiving yards and 88 receptions and if Stew keeps running really well I could see McCaffrey getting 100 receptions for 1000+ .  AND the fact that McCaffrey has gotten no fewer than 14!!!! first downs through his first 4 games , and he is a huge part of why the offense works so well when he sucks attention away from the defense.

I would compare his running in between the tackles to LeVeon Bell's his rookie year. Bell just needed time for the game to slow down for him before he could use his vision and patience as the strengths that they've become and I think that'll be the case with McC as well. But also he needs to be able to get in a rhythm too. Can't do that with Stew having the role he's had so far.

Hit the all on the head. You can't expect a back to get 5 carries per game and have great stats. Running backs need rhythm and once the game slows down will allow Cmc to use his great vision, cuts, and burst to get things going.

and its not like hes getting those 5 all in a row either. For quite a few plays last game he wasnt even on the field. Dude might not see decent stats until he becomes the starter, Rivera seems determined to keep giving Stew the lions share of the carries .

this dude had 18 carries for 21 for a staggering 1.2 YPC. That has to be historically bad running..

Granted he's had higher averages in the other games besides the bills game. But it makes me wonder if hes going to continue getting all the carries if he keeps running for losses. Is it our run blocking thats the problem? Or playcalling ? or stew himself?
