Love Pep...  almost as much as Cam lol.  Also proud of him for playing through that injury.

Also, is it just me, or does it seem lile hes playing a lot more snaps than they originally projected?

Coaching staff is asking him each offensive possession how he is during the defensive rest period.  Obviously he is answering that he is good to go.

Same at practice.

They are still treating him with kid gloves but Julius ain't playin'.

Damn straight, bro...  good to hear!  Lol, Pep at 37 is better than pretty much every other DE in the league.  It's incredible to watch,  and I hope he keeps enjoying it as much as we are!

    • Karlaftis and Danna have been pretty inconsistent so teams have been doubling Jones and able to contain their pass rush.   But the good thing is that yesterday, we schemed well against Steve Spags Defense, Canales married the surrounding personnel with his QB through play designs within his comfort zone and was able to get downfield at will.  He was able to execute higher difficulty throws and look a lot more comfortable.  It tells me that Canales has a good system in mind, and had an edge gameplanning wise against Spagnuolo - which is nice to see.  It's a bit to see-saw at times with either going way too pass heavy or way too run heavy, but I think he's finding out what works.  It takes time to have it come together, and sure, I could see regression happen against a better front-7, but this was good for the entire system gelling.
    • This was evident first two weeks of season. I don’t see any issues with physical tools since he came back. I think he is a player that must play with confidence to overcome those size limitations and he’s doing that.
    • Still 3-10 on passes over 15 yards.  At least he's not scared to merely attempt them anymore.  Where I see improvement is the 10-15 yard range.  He was 6-6.  Bryce of old was scatter shot on anything beyond 10 yards and the further out, the worse the accuracy.
