I'm black and voted for Trump, I probably wouldn't vote for him again, but... if the only viable choice again was either him of Hillary I would vote for Trump again in a heartbeat, so you people and your over generalizations are funny. You don't know what motivation people have for voting for someone, I can say voting for a war criminal like Hillary Clinton (documented, when she was Secretary of State) is even worse than voting for someone who spouts offensive or racist words.

Just because someone disagrees with people politicizing the sport of football doesn't mean we are against free speech, doesn't mean we are against what the protest stands for. The NFL is a business and like any business is there to make money, if I was a business owner and had employees protesting whatever cause, and as a result of that protest turned off a good portion of my buying customers I wouldn't be just fine with it.  Some just may think there are better solutions to this problem than NFL players kneeling, and is just being used by the media to distract us from some real solutions for this issue.

NFL players have a huge platform via traditional media or social media if they wanna champion a cause I say more power to them. If this issue is near and dear to all these players hearts i hope it's not just there during the season, I hope to see players protesting, marching in the off-season, going to speak at town-halls before congress etc. to get some real change going. And not just social warriors when the cameras are rolling.

I voted for no one bc neither truly represent what this country needed. White , black, purple neither one should have been running as a candidate for either side. Neither had what is best for the overall country in mind.  Trump has racists tendencies..With that being said he is looking racists. You cant blame people for that just like you can not blame people who would call you an uncle tom for voting for him..I liked some of his ideas that you mentioned but when he comes off and takes money from the KKK and stated to be friends with them same with hillary then you get nothing from me.  It is sad to see people who want what they want and to hell with others. That is why this country is falling in a rapid pace. Its me and my wants. Voting for someone who you know descriminates against others was mot a good vote..now you complain because the people he has targeted are not lying down. I agree with some of what you say. Malcom jenkins did go before congress and maybe more of the nfl players did...Doing 1 thing is a nice gesture but doing several things is more.

The world has been waiting on a powerful yet eloquent black man since Ali.... Cam fits the mold because so many people hate him and give retarded reasons as to why because they aren't willing to admit their racists. I hope Cam continues being the man he wants to be and not the choir boy Mr. Richardson wants everyone to be, Cam plays better when he's angry.

Fug em all Cam, I'll pass out the bandaids on your behalf

This^^ was my entire point. I think he made his point showed support for a cause in a way that does not distract from the original point of the protest.

"If you vote for 'x' you are a racist" is legitimately the most intellectually lazy argument you could possibly present.

I didn't say that, I just said, people who did, voted FOR one.  Not sure what term that makes people.

I admit I voted for Trump, but you do realize there is people who Voted for other candidates that think the same about certain people? Just because you voted for "X" dont make you "Y". I find it funny, for years and years rappers talked about DT, now all of a sudden he is racist? Sure, he has a loud mouth, thinks his opinions over rules others, or says things that will piss people off ( He does it on Purpose). Donald Trump is the ultimate Internet Troll just put in place to piss people off, I just ignore it. I am sure because I am White, and voted Trump, I will be assumed racist. If you knew me personally, you would know I am far from it.

50+ years doing major corporate business in New York City (and other areas in the U.S.) and being a fixture in the pages of the New York Times plus 10+ years on network TV and finally, somehow, after all those years, when he ran for President as a Republican, all of the geniuses uncovered the sooper-dooper secret that Donald Trump was a "racist".

Because all those NY politicians and NY Times editors/reporters and network TV executives looooooooved that sweet "racist" money.

People can play that game all day, we all vote for our interest and for things we deem important, some people are turned off by candidates in Trump's case by his rhetoric and what they perceive he stands for, in their eyes and that's their right to do so, some people disagree with his policies, some people don't have a problem with him per say but don't wanna be associated with the people they deem his followers.  Now take everything I said and put Hillary's name there instead of Trumps, it works for both sides.

At the end of the day whether you voted are didn't vote those were the only two people who were going to ever win. So when you say Trump supporters or people who voted for Trump, you have to know people are going to assume you were a Hillary supporter because democrats didn't select Bernie.

As far as not blaming people calling me a uncle Tom I couldn't care less lol, I bet a good 90% of those people if you asked them who was Harriet Beecher Stowe couldn't tell you.

Some may actually think it's more in character of Uncle Tom to blindly follow and have unquestioned loyalty to the Democratic party and whatever candidate they put forth every other year. Instead of taking a look at a person's policies and deciding what you think works best for you.

You may not be a racist, but you thought it was "OK" to vote for one.

Not sure what that makes you or if it's worse.

It makes him someone who would stand by and let racism and racists  roam free as long as it doesn't affect him if is not directly affecting him he's not gonna say anything and I will say that those people or more annoying and more detrimental to this country and unity then any racist person ever could be because if you're not a racist why would you not call out the bullshit I don't trust people like that because I honestly don't think   You could be so careless without actually agreeing with that ideology I don't even give them a chance because it's a waste of time

    • For the silly people that worship her it will be that.  The Coleman 'legend' thing, they did that with another fairly average player that was here and I sort of mocked or questioned the 'legend' status. Instantly caught crap for insulting someone's favorite Panther. So okay, Kurt Coleman is a Legend.
    • You allow him to compete--you all are talking as if I am proposing making him the starter. Give him a new coach, new weapons, good OL, etc. and see what happens. You are saying, "Well Damn.  It did not work for 3 guys..."  Right now, our C is injured, we lost our top 2 WRs.  Better question:  If you need a QB, Why would you not take a chance on bringing in a QB who was a former first rounder, a good arm, intelligence, mobility, youth, etc.  and see how he does out of NY--with a better OL, better running game, better receivers.  I am not saying give him a 10-year contract, I am saying give him a chance. You act like there is no improvement on offense here--it was a 2 year process, and next year is year 2.  To me, how can you sit there with Bryce and an opportunity to sign a veteran QB on the cheap comes available and you say--"Not us. We're good.  We are waiting for Patrick Mahommes."  Jone's problem is obviously mental--and he has little support.  Why is this so frigging hard to comprehend.  It is called "bottom fishing" and it is better than sitting in the boat.
    • I think we're going to fall from behind quite early and be forced to abandon the run game.  3 rushes -2 yards 1 catch -10 yards
