That's not a fair statement. All Trump supporters are not racist. It's dumbing things down to a level that is on par with the generalizations that America needs to fight.

I am a Trump supporter and think that Cam is a perfect example of doing things the "right" way.

It is great to have pride in your culture, black, brown, red, white or yellow.

Cam's protest was appropriate, timed well and powerful. Made me proud to be an Panthers fan and American.

A simple act timed well, is far more impactful and less polarizing then an act that CAN be perceived as disrespectful to our soldiers and nation.

I believe that we will see many players take a page from Cam's book, and start to shift to protests that will be more well received.

Also, dug the hell out of Shaq's shoes. Our men are leading the way when it comes to this type of issue.

You may not be a racist, but you thought it was "OK" to vote for one.

Not sure what that makes you or if it's worse.

I would vote the same way today. I voted for tax reform, healthcare reform, tough immigration, SC justice, among other things.

I don't buy DT is a racist, a loud mouth that thinks his opinion matters more than policy, yes.

Anyway, all things aside, I support Cam and his protest selection.

Please quote me where I said all Trump supporters are racist.  I'll wait...

I said he is definitely a Trump supporter and he is.  He is also probably one of "those" fans that never liked Cam because reasons.

I will not split hairs with you, do you know "inference"?

No matter what, voting for a racist is a deal breaker for me, not sure what it means when it's not for others.    A bit of research would show that he is one, from how he treated minority tenants in the past and other things.   This is even before his run for president, which showed millions of other reasons lol.       Though you know what they say, bliss and all that :).

I'm black and voted for Trump, I probably wouldn't vote for him again, but... if the only viable choice again was either him of Hillary I would vote for Trump again in a heartbeat, so you people and your over generalizations are funny. You don't know what motivation people have for voting for someone, I can say voting for a war criminal like Hillary Clinton (documented, when she was Secretary of State) is even worse than voting for someone who spouts offensive or racist words.

Just because someone disagrees with people politicizing the sport of football doesn't mean we are against free speech, doesn't mean we are against what the protest stands for. The NFL is a business and like any business is there to make money, if I was a business owner and had employees protesting whatever cause, and as a result of that protest turned off a good portion of my buying customers I wouldn't be just fine with it.  Some just may think there are better solutions to this problem than NFL players kneeling, and is just being used by the media to distract us from some real solutions for this issue.

NFL players have a huge platform via traditional media or social media if they wanna champion a cause I say more power to them. If this issue is near and dear to all these players hearts i hope it's not just there during the season, I hope to see players protesting, marching in the off-season, going to speak at town-halls before congress etc. to get some real change going. And not just social warriors when the cameras are rolling.

"If you vote for 'x' you are a racist" is legitimately the most intellectually lazy argument you could possibly present.

You could tell he probably called off whatever the intended play was so he could get in his little look at me moment...  I think its pitiful and all that participate are morons...  But thats just like my opinion...

He wanted to make a statement and show his support of the movement and to let the NFL know he is not going anywhere. They want to tame CAM but they have awaken the lion in him..Its time for the NFL and the rest that felt CAM had been muzzled know where he stands. The media is the one giving him attention and if he was not who he was he would get no attention..CAM could fart and the media would be there to expose him..so yeah he had to change the play and yes it was a me moment, a team moment and a movement moment..I support all

"I don't want to argue" "Let's argue"

Is that about right?   Yes, I happen to know what inference is... I also happen to know that Trump supporters do seem to fit a certain mold.

It's also no surprise that the first guy commenting about White Pride on Person's tweet is a proud Trump supporter.  How about you infer from that...

PS - somehow itt "supporter" got conflated to "voted for".  A lot of people voted for Trump, but now don't necessarily support him.  A lot of people voted for and ardently support him, seemingly no matter what he does or says.

They aren't the same thing.

I was and am referring to supporters of Trump.
