I am a Trump supporter and think that Cam is a perfect example of doing things the "right" way.

A simple act timed well, is far more impactful and less polarizing then an act that CAN be perceived as disrespectful to our soldiers and nation.

I believe that we will see many players take a page from Cam's book, and start to shift to protests that will be more well received.

Ehhh, the "right way" in this instance basically means nothing that is too overtly threatening to your ideology.

I'm sure you would be here complimenting him if he had taken a knee during the anthem. Right?

Also, if it wasn't for "polarizing" displays of protest in the 1960's, we wouldn't have civil rights. Nothing about equality back then was "well received" by conservative white men like yourself.

For someone I respect and who I believe to be incredibly intelligent, that was an awful rebuttal to an articulate post. No disrespect.

You know he's drunk.  Not worth commenting on imo.  I love you so I bothered to reply.

I too was taken aback. Never expected that. Some snarky rebuttal? Sure. That? Wasn't ready for it.

Disagree. Summed it up perfectly IMO.

If you didn't read past Trump supporter I can see how you would come to that conclusion. Isn't this the biggest problem we have right now? We are all getting grouped in with people like Trump or Hillary. Neither of them represent my views and if I told you I voted for trump you would poo me. (I didn't vote for either of them).

There are lots of good people that voted for Trump. I wont judge or abuse them. The entire election process was a mess on both sides.

I don't particularly care about taking a knee. I think the point gets lost because it CAN be perceived as disrespectful.

Just like I said, without all the hate slant you like to put on anything that is not your way of thinking.

That's not a fair statement. All Trump supporters are not racist. It's dumbing things down to a level that is on par with the generalizations that America needs to fight.

I am a Trump supporter and think that Cam is a perfect example of doing things the "right" way.

It is great to have pride in your culture, black, brown, red, white or yellow.

Cam's protest was appropriate, timed well and powerful. Made me proud to be an Panthers fan and American.

Also, dug the hell out of Shaq's shoes. Our men are leading the way when it comes to this type of issue.

Please quote me where I said all Trump supporters are racist.  I'll wait...

I said he is definitely a Trump supporter and he is.  He is also probably one of "those" fans that never liked Cam because reasons.
