How could it get worse? I mean really? Is Peppers gonna STOP performing now? Gimme a break. Beason did the best thing he could have done in this situation and I would much rather have someone out there that wants to plays than Guy Smiley who would be better suited for Dancing with the Stars than scaring opposing QB's. I would sit him on the bench just like they did Jake until he gets it thru his skull that playing NOT to get hurt is not what is expected out of him and until his attitude changes let him SIT. He cant perform any less on the bench than he has already this season, so let someone with some heart get out there and play.

how could it get worse? well maybe someone will come and and trash Godfrey.....he does deserve it? Maybe someone will start voicing complaints of the dumbass play calling that is holding the team back. All are true and obvious. If Fox losses control and players feel the need to voice complaints through the media as okay options to get desired results.....it could easily get worse.

if Pep starts to play worse...it will be a great impact to the team. Pep is playing the same way he has always played.

The talk isnt going to do any good because Peppers is done here. He doesnt want to be here and its obvious. Cut him lose as soon as possible and cut our loses now.

Last year....when he had a career high in sacks. Same guy, same effort. He has more tackles and sacks and forced fumbles than he had through three games last season. Peppers is a great all around DE.....he won't dominate without help. He isn't that kind of player. His best years he gave the same effort....he just looked better playing next to a fantastic players up front.

Carolina wanted Peppers back based on the what they have seen from him the past 2 seasons. Did he play better the past two seasons than he has shown the first 3 games this year? Hurney is too blame for the $$ going toward Peppers.....not Peppers. Hurney is too blame for the limitations the Panthers are under based on contracts to Peppers, Jake, Gamble etc. None of these high paid guys deserve the money. Why are we still bitching about Pep when everything really points to the Hurney/Fox duo. Poor job with contract/player decisions and poor coaching/playcalling. That is why I don't bitch about Pep.

Yeah,peppers will either step up and use his God given talent or he will curl up into a shell hating the fact that the attention(onus)is now on him,making him hate being on the team even more!I bet he regresses even more,but that's ok,if he does,bench him!

Their was a player who did this same thing but got dogged for doing and saying the same thing. Now he is in NY with a 3-1 record and another trip too the Pro Bowl wating at the end of the season. Must I say his name?

You miss one simple fact though. Jenk could not even make his weight requrements for the team. If your gonna call the team out you better be performing at your best also. With that said I really dont like Beason calling pep out on the air. This could backfire or become great. We will have to see.

I think Harris...

No doubt. Harris and Beason are def the leaders of the Defense. I dont know if calling out peppers will work but if I remember right Rucker did it in his first season because we was being lazy. Maybe Peppers needs someone to ride his ass. IDK.
