Beason is Calling out Pep on WFNZ

Beason could be one of the NFL's most underated players (although many do give him the respect he deserves). Awesome player, well spoken, just comes off as a guy who knows what the f*ck is going on around him. Just a shame he is wasted on such a sh*tty team.
He would be a beast as an Eagle, but I hope that never comes true!

I told him up front before security ran me off.I said Kris, get to work or i'll jump this fence and go to your ass.He said get some, and thats when I told him I'd be out of jail along time before he got out of the hospital, then he said something smart and walked off.I told him to go ahead and practice falling down and bleeding, thats when the national guard made me leave

fignewty likes bees, i see

It would not surprise me at all if this was pre-approved by the front office and Fox. Maybe it was just me but it look as if Peppers got benched for a while during that Dallas game, and rightfully so. For Peppers, the worse case sinero is for him to get hurt. I completely believe Peppers when he said that it wasn't about the money and I believe he would gladly take a massive paycut to play somewhere else.

For the Panthers, the worse case senrio is for them to have to bench Peppers. This completely drives down his value for any tag and trade option they would have next season and without that option I don't see a tag being used. A deflated value of Peppers ability doesn't hurt Peppers' cause, in fact it helps it.

By calling him out on the radio it's a gamble but one that might work and if it doesn't, only further devalues Peppers to a point that might make it impossible for Peppers to sign anywhere, which isn't what he wants.

Call me a crazy, conspiricy theorist but I believe these types of mind games go on all the time throughtout the NFL.

Dear all the people in this thread who are worried that this will upset team chemistry and worry how pep will react.........

exactly what the fug does the defense have to lose?

right now, pep should be benched. Beason is doing him a favor by calling him out.

Allot, the defense is struggling to get on the same page - but at least they are struggling as a unit... if things get ugly in the lockeroom it's gonna get a whole lot worse.

I doubt it... too much thinking involved (and I'm not saying that as a diss). It appears to me that Beason is merely frustrated (as I'm sure the others are as well, and rightfully so) and vented his anger on the radio.

Interesting...as of 12:40 AM they've seemingly taken all Jon Beason segments down from the podcast list. At least, they don't work for me. I use Firefox. It says they're "unavailable", yet other podcasts from today work.

If this is true...looks like someone told them to remove the rant.

Dun dun dunnnn!

It's out now though; tons of people heard it. I still don't think it's that big of a deal, though.

Weird, it works now, but the list is different. Not sure what I was doing earlier.

Yeah, but I posted that before I listened to it again. Skimmed through it, and didn't hear him talking about Pep. I might have just missed it, but they may have taken that bit out.
