Curtis Samuel won't play Sunday

Its not good as a rookie starting out he's already having injury problems

I still think CMC and Samuel were picks that weren't well thought out. I think they saw Cam struggle and said lets draft two players who can do many different things that are still up on the board and it just doesn't work that way. I can guarantee not once did anybody think of Shula inability to make it work.

lol this team is hilariously over-cautious with injuries.

What's is Rivera saving these guys up for?

Uh... we played Cam with a torn rotator cuff in his throwing shoulder when the season was over. We put Beason on the field with an Achilles that we knew was a ticking time bomb. I'd MUCH rather take a cautious approach than potentially derail careers.

If only he could stay healthy and we had a coaching staff that knew how to use talent, might be a different story

We might actually have the staff to use his talent. Shula is the only guy that ever made Ted Ginn work

Shula can't do anything about the Oline or Olsen going down, Cam not getting any reps whatsoever with the new toys.

Whatever offense that Shula wants to run, injuries have kept it from looking good.

Which is not to absolve Shula of all blame, just  to say that, if you had Lombardi and Belichick's love child as an OC,  offense might not look much better at the moment.
