So the Kaaya thing

I know

Makes you wonder what they have him doing in practice.  Is he working on mechanics with eye for the future or just going through the motions.

Ya... would you even want him to start behind this line and wreck him as a QB too?

Until we fix this line (which will never happen apparently) we could draft Darnold  and I don't think it would matter. We could count on one hand the QB's that would stand a fighting chance behind this line.

We're kind of fvcked

I'd like to be in the QB film room and see Kaaya's reaction when he sees guys blowing by the tackles with ease ha

In three weeks we've gone from:

1. Woot! Ready to watch Cam roll this year! The sky is the limit!

2. Not a bad game for Cam, not a great game. Win baby!

3. Whew, rough day for Cam, McDermott had our number but we won it.

4. Yug, worst Cam day in a long time, three INTs and we lose.

5. Cam looks hurt.

6. Cam hates this place.

7. Cam is on the way out.

8. There's no way Cam would sign a third contract with us.

9. Let's go ahead and start drafting a replacement.

It's freaking week 4 coming up and you folks are not just chucking the season but throwing Cam away and saying our organization is trash.

Do us all a favor and find a new team. Because if you don't, the only people that will enjoy this season less than you are the folks who have to sit through it with you. Please, the Packers, Patriots, Seahawks and Steelers are always happy to have the "My favorite team while they are winning" fans.

I can't really argue against saying this org is trash.  Maybe not trash but it's not a finely tuned running machine.

"Hurney, you're fired!"

"Dave, please fix us"

"Great job Dave.  SB loss but better than where we were"

"You're making some tough decisions here Dave."

"Dave, you're fired!"

"Hurney, please fix us"

Wait, what?  Smart decisions of a organization that knows what they are doing.

You're damn right about this. People used to say I was as pessimistic as they came, but I've had the optimism of Tony Robbins and Walt Disney compared to some people on here this week.

Not one person on here knows what's going on with Cam. His play has been beyond terrible this year, but none of us knows if it's rust-related, surgery-related or if he just has the yips. Can we at least not blow up the franchise quarterback and organization as long as we still have a winning record and until we learn the answer to that question??

You sure seem like a fearful little man

It is just a discussion about what if's.  Too much for your delicate psyche, then just move along.  I have been doing football for a lot longer than you and when I want to speculate about what might be best for my team in the future, I will do that, no matter what some jersey buying fan says.

I have pulled for 2 teams since 69, the Vikings and then the Panthers when we got them.  Grow up, nothing said on a message board is "bound to come true".

Good or bad, but we can talk about it just the same

From what I saw in the preseason, I still think Gilbert had the best mechanics

Now, how he would do when the real bullets start flying, who knows, especially if the Oline is still stumbling, and our top 2 targets are gone

But, evidently, the coaches did not like him enough and brought in Kaaya

1. Cam may not be completely healthy.

2. The coaches are trying to change his entire game this year. They've referenced Big Ben's transformation in Pittsburgh a couple of times, but that transition wasn't smooth at first (though not near as bad as Cam looks at the moment). There were many stories about Ben being frustrated and issues with him and Haley.

3. I wasn't impressed with what I saw of Kaay during Detriot's preseason. My biggest concern was how his eyes would drop to the pass rush at the first sign of pressure.

I'm remarking on the panic being shown and making fun of the Chicken Littles running around saying the sky is falling.

I've been a football fan since 1976 and I've had two teams in that whole time. The Atlanta Falcons (1976 -1994) and the Panthers from (1994 - the end of my days). Being a Falcon fan in the 70s and 80s probably toughened me up when it came to bad seasons. But really, I don't give up on my team. Especially after three games, only one of which is a loss.

Loved the Bartkowski years

Fulton County and the mud

Fun team to watch, for a few years
