Matt Kalil giving up that sack at the start of the game is less important. Look at this awful play.

There are three targets, none of which are remotely close to being open.

Cam was looking in KB's direction, could have been another INT.

Cam should have thrown one of them open!  Or called an audible!

There are 3 targets because 7 guys stayed in to block 6 guys and there was still a free runner at Cam.  I believe CMC was supposed to release, but never got a chance.

Long time reader and historical poster, but I've laid low for a long time now.

Not anymore.  This ^.  This may be the most frustrating play I've witnessed in many, many years.  It was a poor play call that was  poorly executed that deflated the confidence of Cam and the entire offense and set the tone for the entire game.

Go back to our roots.  Ground and pound and beat them into submission.  Instead we get max protect and a DE that goes untouched to squash our 6' 5" fragile quarterback.  Depressing and disheartening for everyone in that stadium for a multitude of reasons.

This is why Greg Olsen is the key part of our offense. He'd likely draw double coverage in this situation in the middle of the field, it's easy for the defense.

This x 2

We have no one else that comes close to demanding a double team.
