Cam's QBR this week is 7. Is it time to sit him down?

I really don't think this is true to be honest.

Anderson may not be the talent Cam is but he has also proven he can come out and efficiently distribute the ball and not eat sacks.

When Cam plays we either win games or lose them dependent upon him. Anderson can play within a system.

The only thing Anderson has proven is he can come in and throw game ending interceptions and an awful pick six.

Not being cute. You literally said we aren't winning with him in this condition. We won twice. If you're implying something else then do better(as you did in later posts). Your original statement was false and I simply pointed it out.

Your are playing with semantics. At the time of his post in the present tense, we are coming off of a loss due to, among numerous other factors, Cam's health and performance. Looking forward, One can argue that, within his statement as worded, the future is also inferred, i.e., aren't (going to) win (ning)with him in his present condition. Although a W is theoretically possible, our next opponent is vastly different from NO. For every Pats loss home or away, you'll find three to four wins since, well, forever. Only in some bizarre alternate reality can you look at our offense in its present form and expect sustained, or even sporadic, success, particularly v. well rounded teams coached and quarterbacked by alien cyborgs.

Without positive change, history tends to repeat itself, and while the FO has sometimes talked the talk, we've yet to see them walk the walk in nearly every aspect of the organization. And don't come back with the 2015 outlier that accounts for less than five percent of Panther history. The on field and sideline products are not getting better at this point, save a few limited exceptions. Therefore, especially in the NFL, it follows that, far more likely than not, they are getting worse. Simple and plain, sumthin's gotta give. Let's hope it's not Cam's shoulder (or ankle, head, etc.).

"we aren't winning with him in this  condition"

Its playing with semantics to point out that contrary to OPs statement we have actually won twice with Cam in this condition?  I'm not saying I disagree with his thoughts(or yours) on future wins. It was literally just me pointing out that we have won twice with Cam in his current condition. It's a very simple statement.

Frame of reference. Looking backwards in time, you are literally correct, but as I said, if that statement is made at any time after the third quarter yesterday, it applies to the present and strongly infers, in normal usage, the future. Example:

A. I'm worried about Cam.

B. Why?

A.  His shoulder, his ankle, his head.

B. Hey man, we're 2 and 0.

A. So far yeah, but we're getting our asses handed to us today. He's throwing the ball like a girl, and we face Brady next Sunday with Stafford after that...on the road. We're not winning with Cam in his CURRENT condition.

Consider that his condition today, and yesterday, and from the looks of it, tomorrow, isn't the same as it was in the prior two weeks. Logically, he should be better. Obviously he isn't. If anything, he's worse. Therefore, the post you take exception to is at least as valid as your own interpretation, and in all probability, it is more accurate. Communication through language is successful if the receiver comprehends the content as intended. I think he made his point successfully. Furthermore, I agree with it.

Nah thats too broad. You could say that at any point(which many posters do and have done daily for years) and if it happens to come true then your convoluted interpretation is suddenly correct.  OP made a direct statement. "We aren't winning with him in this condition". Since he has been in this condition since the beginning of the season and we have won twice then the statement is false. If he wanted to say that we would win in the future then he should say "we aren't going to win any more games with him in this condition". It's not my fault he worded it poorly. It happens on internet message boards. I just pointed it out. The point wasn't to dissolve the post into a grammar contest. You admitted that I am literally correct lol. Let it go, buddy.

Man y'all are panicking.  Cam hasn't played in eons so he's off a bit with timing and accuracy, basically has a new set of receivers to learn and mesh with....let the season play out, who knows...in a few weeks I think the O will find a rhythm.....10-6 or 11-5 seems doable if that happens.  If not, offseason decisions will have to made...relax.

You will get use to being talked down to. Your not taking seriously on the Huddle until you reach at least 15,000 posts.  Or run around screaming at the top of your lungs how great Cam is:hearteyes:.   And how much :poo: everyone else is stick to that formula and you will be worshiped like a football god.   Don't worry when they start picking on your spelling or how you didn't word a particular phrase just the way they think you should have that's a good thing I promise.

Thanks for the advice. I really don't worry one iota about posters and their replies on duh interwebs, especially, lately around here. I have acquired a taste for pie, etc. though. Now, when people stop paying me to analyze facts and arguments, and express my own, then I'll start worrying...a lot! Matter of fact, that reminds me. I need to quit hanging out here so much and collect some overdue invoices. Until they fix this mess, if I do get paid, JR ain't getting any more of my money either.

PS - As of yesterday afternoon, we aren't winning with Cam in his current condition. Hopefully, that wil change soon.
