Cam Newton is a bad quarterback now, but you know who REALLY sucks? Derek Anderson

Can somebody tell me why we haven't drafted a quarterback in 6 years and we're still rolling with this guy? The past seasons and preseasons have shown that Derek Anderson doesn't even belong in the league anymore.

I'm really not sure what happened with Derek. Up until this year, I felt pretty confident with him as our backup. Even defended him multiple times because I truly believed he was one of the best backups in the league.

But the preseason was just flat out ugly. Am I missing something? I mean, our Offensive Blocking cant be THAT BAD, right? He's been inaccurate and made easy mistakes, very unlike him to this point.

In addition to his natural decline in physical capabilities, Derek Anderson also doesn't seem to give a rat's ass about his performance (or lack thereof).  His play on the field is what you get.
