One keypoint that seems to have been overlooked in the loss yesterday

Coming from a past of sports betting, I realize the importance teams place on marquee games.  Often, the games before it are taken for granted in order to prepare for Prime Time.  Cam Newton is a diva plain and simple.  By shtting the bed this Sunday, he's got the whole world doubting him.   What better way to punch them in the mouth, then to light up the Patriots and WIN?

The Saints game was a classic lookahead game and as much as the fans would have liked to see a win, the players are drawn to the lights.  There's a reason why the Panthers-Patriots tickets are the most expensive tickets this season at New England.  This is a matchup the public wants to see, players like Cam live for this.

tldr; Panthers overlooked the Saints.  2-0, feeling good, and eyeing the Champs.  Guns are going to be blazing next Sunday.

Critiquing Newton as our QB based on pregame or postgame attire of all things after a loss reveals the true intentions of individuals. Newton isn't the problem. You are.

No, I'm just logical.  You are emotional.

Look at what Cam Newton wears most of the time.  You don't think that screams, "Look at me!"?

If he likes being the center of attention, then I bet he'd have much more interest in a game against the Reigning SUPER BOWL CHAMPS than a 0-2 Saints.

You can file the above under "Something Well Coached Championship-Caliber Teams Rarely If Ever Do".
