you need to scale back the putting the diagrams in all the threads. you're borderline spamming threads with them. i know....we all know... you're passionate about this, but dude give it a rest. you're acting like we've got something to do with the decision making process.

Yes, the plays are very complex. Any analyst will tell you that.

They are, which is why they suck.

They’re complex, yet predictable. It doesn’t flow and keep defenses on its heels because everyone knows if the Panthers are in x personnel it’s a run and y is pass.

Simplify and diversify should be Shula’s approach to play-calling.

These analysts you speak of are just trying to pump up Shula.  He's no genius and his scheme is garbage.  It always has been and always will be.  You can't polish this turd enough to get the smell off.

Thank you, rayzor.

NE runs a complex system too so maybe we do need smarter players then...might explain why our WRs run into each other or run their DB in front of the WR behind them on plays and poo all the time. We always have two WRs in the same spot somehow.

He must also write the plays in Hieroglyphics(crayon of course) since it takes 23.5 seconds to get the play in. That ole Shula him...was a genius this whole time.

Telling Kalil to block the outside pass rusher would be a start. How many times has he helped Norwell while the outside guy gets a free run?

That's actually what a LT needs to do. Unfortunately if that changes it needs to come from the center. Losing Ryan Kalil was not a small loss.

Why are you equating complex with good? They can be both shitty and complex.

If anyone thinks Shula's offense is simple, what would you call John Fox's?

Personally, it's not about being too simple or too complex... the plays just take way too long to develop and we don't have the talent on the line or at QB to sit and wait for something to happen. Cam is at his best when he's playing a school yard type game and they need to let him do that.
