Anyone Concered about the D?

Frankly, I don't care if it was Drew Brees. The D's performance today was unacceptable. A team that wants to claim they're the best defensive unit we've ever had doesn't allow anyone to score 30+ points at home.

Granted, the defense did not play well.  But with three picks, some of those points are on the offense.

Huh? No. I have no idea. (Although, by some of your posts....lol)

My point was that your post was irrelevant being that we lost.

It's not that we lost. Hell, upsets happen. It's that we got thoroughly dominated at home by a previously winless team that was almost universally picked to finish last in the division.

Oh, I get it. My cliche is irrelevant. But your cliche is permissable? Cool. Nice to know the rules.

We beat two teams we should have beaten. Then we lost a Division game. Which I would not call those automatic wins. My cliche stands.

It was like, because we settled for a FG on that first drive. Everything just kinda snowballed downhill the rest of the way. Just a perfect storm. It happens. But man, is it frustrating.

I agree.  I am hoping it was just one of those days that teams and indeed everyone sometimes has.

You see it all the time. Something negative happens, And the next thing you know, you are in jail waiting for a bail bondsman.

Something to think about. This is the type of game Coaches can get on the players over. Question them, and see how they respond. Or at least that is my saving grace for this week.

Hell, anything stands if SD add in enough qualifiers. My point was that we've faced nothing but bad teams so it's still tough to determine how we really match up against quality opponents

lol, you are right and why I wasn't worrying about winning this one.  Everyone is having a fit over rusty Cam.  Not worried one bit, he just finished preseason...seems he and CMC are getting it together...if that dude doesn't get hurt, that offense is going to be potent in a few weeks. Shula actually had some creativity, I like what they are starting to do.

At this point Cam doesn't look rusty he looks broke

Then why didn't you just say that. Instead of using a tired cliche about who we beat won't have a winning record. We knew they weren't the best teams. Yet we beat them. So me saying good teams beat teams they should. Is true as well.

Just face it. You used a cliche to throw shade on our 2-1 record. Which, if my math is correct, is considered a winning record.
