When someone says a thread is the worst and clearly in denial. The guy who posted about cam struggling in bringing in derek wasnt completely wrong. Benjamin is a lost cause who drops more passes than he brings in. Sick of hearing all these awesome catches in training camp, poo save it for the season then.

Thank you, and yes Devins best games have come with him in Benjamins role. To me he is dead weight (not a fat joke). I can't wait to hear all of you when Hurney gives him a 5 year deal.

Folks are willing to say anything to make their points seem valid. Even if that point is, well...misguided.

What this all comes down to is the fact that folks are frustrated. And frustration does not lend itself to rational thinking. But man, it is fun to read.

His three seasons where he's played consistent time are Cams worst seasons as a pro. (Including this one) That's not a good sign when you're talking about your number 1 WR.

This team is better without Benjamin, our only well executed drive of the game came after he went out.

really? how about the opening drive? how about the first drive of the 2nd half when the refs absolutely fuucked us with that bullchit delay of game cus one of THEM wouldnt get out of the damn way. Benji was in for both drives. whats your excuse for that those?

Panthers made a late substitution and the refs have to allow the Saints a chance to match the substitution. That's why the ref wasn't letting us go.

wut. do you even football? you cant make substitutions post-huddle on offense. even if we had made a late one before the huddle, the saints should have been make to use a time out like EVERY OTHER FOOTBALL TEAM if they didnt like the personnel they had on the field.

The head of officiating or whatever his title is said exactly the same thing as trueblade reported.  Do you even football?

i guess not. i never even checked back about it last night. sure would have been nice for the refs to explain that in the game. we booed them for four straight plays after that

I was livid also watching it on TV.  The explanation didn't help ease my suffering but it is what it is.

Our coaches should have known this also as it wasn't the first time I've seen a ref step in and hold play while the clock was running.  It seems to be a tactic this staff tries to use to fool a defense, or they simple can't get the players on the field in time.  You decide which but it's not pretty.

well if thats the case then the coaching staff is focusing too much on being cute and not enough on keeping players healthy / motivating players to execute

The problem isn't KB. The problem is that Cam looks at primary (normally KB), Olsen, check down. I don't feel like he ever gets to whoever the secondary WR is in the call. So basically if you switched KB and Funch then Funch would get the catches. If you think Funch is gonna do more with YAC then KB then maybe you make that switch.

In order to fix this problem Cam's shoulder needs to get right, he needs to practice, and we need to reincorporate the read option and not take away the greatest advantage we have over any team...which is the man disadvantage they have when having to account for Cam running. It's not gonna be worth it to the organization OR to Cam for him to be hamstrung. The team won't win, Cam's career will go in the tank, and it'll end up being a giant waste of time.
