If we get another top 10 pick it needs to be the best LT available and have Motion be RT .

It's still very early in the season but this has the feel of a 6-10 or 7-9 team .

Alot of people already mentioned it but our OC and HC are massively handicapping our offenses potential . Also Cam isn't healthy.

If I were JR, I'd wait to see how the Patriots game goes . If we lay down and get soundly beaten , and Cam takes s beating again , I'd start Anderson until Cam is 100 percent , fire Shula , and fire Ron if we keep losing down the stretch . Need an offense minded HC for a change and a much better OC.

Hey, why don't you educate us some more this week huh? I would love for you to share more of your superior knowledge to us on how Shula isn't predictable and how a fan could not possibly know what plays are coming, even though he could only muster up 13 points against a historically bad defense without it's top 3 corners. Oh, and even though Saints players were jumping routes because they knew what was coming, I'm sure Shula is still not predictable right?

Hmm and you're right. I should have known not to say the game was over after the 1st, even though we get curb stomped after the 1st. We've had so many comebacks when down 13 amiright? Oh wait, we haven't? Yeah, I was way off saying the game was done.......

I wouldn't call my knowledge superior. But you are sweet for saying so.

Yeah, quitting on a team is alright if they eventually lose. Can't fault that logic.

Still riding that "Fans are able to call plays" horse. Don't forget to scrub him down when you finish riding him.

    • Too late to edit above but the quote is from this Diane Russini article in the Athletic: https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5941684/2024/11/23/russinis-what-im-hearing-the-day-the-jets-fell-apart-and-the-broncos-rallied-belichick-best-fits/ Okay.. there you have sorry I left that out the first post.  Also waivers keep the contract intact. That is the major difference in released and waived. It's all in that link from the other post.
    • Okay so I am reading something in The Athletic and it says that Jones had to pass through waivers. So I don't know. I looked this stuff up when we were number one there all offseason and I thought it said 4 years in the league got you vested, as they call it.  Vested gets you out of waivers as I understood it. I probably got something wrong, but when I think about the slack quality of journalism these days I wonder about that. So I went and looked, again. Well, well.  For everyone: "When a player has accrued at least four seasons in the NFL, they are considered a vested veteran. When these vested veterans get cut, they are released and their contract is terminated. When a vested veteran is released, they are an unrestricted free agent that can sign with any NFL team, and the team that released them doesn’t need to provide any additional compensation." It runs it all down here, where the quotes came from: https://www.profootballnetwork.com/waived-vs-released-nfl/ As far as Jones, the team turned down his 5th year option so I knew that meant he had 4 years in, because they re-signed him anyway, after turning down the much cheaper extra year.  The Athletic is owned by the New York Times so I shouldn't be surprised. That paper was an institution once upon a time but they let their standards go.
