Here's the plain truth...

Peppers stays in the locker room during the anthem  because J.R. must have given the order 'no kneeling'. He fires D.G (who brought the team back from the dead, like him or not), to bring back Hurney (who destroyed our cap and in the process the team), and tries to slide him in as temporary ( he isn't going anywhere). The coaching is terrible in most phases of the game.

IF you think this team is going to get better this year, next year or any year, your dreaming. Until this whole group moves on and they start with a fresh outlook and new ownership, management, and coaching, expect the misery to continue. Seen it all before. That is the truth with this team.

Gettleman screwed us ever since he let Norman go.  This past year he goes out and get us Kalil, doesn't bring in a competent starting corner, and let Ted Ginn walk out the door without a replacement of his speed or at least a receiver who can run a full route tree.  So, no, G-man messed us up on his way out.

U think D.G screwed us, just see what Hurney does to this team. He is J.R's hand puppet and to bring him back is terrible. That alone would be enough to drive fans away.

If we have a terrible year, which is beginning to look to be the case, no one will be brought back.  We won't have to worry about Hurney anymore.  Also, Rivera always refused to get rid of Shula.  Well, both of them are about to get the ax together.

You know, you may be on to something. If we can't make it to .500 I wouldnt be upset to see the two of them move on to greener pastures along with Hurney. I don't see how you could possibly bring back all 3 of them.

Gotta disagree on the the receiver portion of your statement. He drafted Samuel to replace Ginn and we still have Damiere Byrd. We shouldn't blame Getteleman for Shulas inability to incorporate them into the offense.

I still don't know what to think of Samuel.  I hate jack of all trade type players when you don't have dynamic coaches.  As for Byrd, I agree.  Why in the world is he not getting playing time?

How many "terrible years" did we have under Hurney last time?

Was anybody fired after those terrible years?

This team will be blown up if we can't make the playoffs this year. I can't see Rivera surviving 3 General Managers. Ryan Cowden and Trent Kirchner are my two favorites for the GM position.

Right now I would settle for Sanjay as GM over the Hurney.
