We complain about our Oline all the time. Well, Drew Brees isn't playing with a collection of Hall of Fame lineman either. I don't even know who his receivers are today with the exception of Ginn and that Thomas guy who has been abusing D.Worley. Brees is simply a great QB who can make his receivers look good no matter who is in the lineup. If Cam is ever going to be a truly great QB he's going to have be able to do the same

remember in our 15-1 season, the first time we played the Saints, Brees missed the whole game. And yet we only won thanks to a last play Josh Norman interception in the end zone, that frankly was amazing.

Saints are a division opponent and Payton knows how to play us.

I was Cam's biggest fan when he was a top 10 QB.  Made this username early on in 2015 well before he was in the running for MVP cause I believed in him.  If anything that makes me much more objective about his decline.

 

I'm not claiming I know why he's declined, but to anyone with a modicum of football knowledge you can see his performance out there for what is now close to 14-16 games has been that of a bottom 10 starter in that span.  Not franchise level, let alone MVP level.  The throws he's missing and the decisions he's made have been stunningly bad.

 

  I can only hope he turns it around before the end of the season but if not then we're talking about something like a 30 game sample size.
