Chud honestly wasn't that bad when he wasn't trying to get cute with every single play.

I'd rather have him back personally.

I actually think Haskell was the best, but neither he nor Chudzinski had a very long stay here.

Granted, Chud was with us longer than he was with the Browns.

Good OC's become head coaches. Hence why hiring a defensive head coach and a great defensive staff is pointless.

That's actually why my favorite choice for OC tends to be a former head coach who's "been there, done that". Someone a little older maybe, who doesn't mind not being in charge.

Basically, what Dan Henning was.

Worth noting that arguably our best OC is the only one who was primarily a West Coast Offense guy.

I'm not a big WCO fan, but I would say we currently have some of the pieces to run it decently.

Steve Burlein was a great WCO QB, coupled with Walls, it was a deadly combo.

If our D hadn't aged like milk we could have been consistent contenders at that time.

I think we should definitely incorporate more short passing and a few timing routes, but I'm not sure that Cam fits the west coast system very well.  I'm fine with our current scheme, just wish we would execute better and shake up the play calling a little more.
