Rams have torched another team already in the colts.

The rams may have a good offense actually.

New offensive coordinator and putting Andrew Whitworth at LT certainly helped with that.

Meanwhile we keep Shula and sign Matt the Turnstile.

Oher was above average in 2015. You can't have every position be average or above, it's not possible in the salary cap era. You need to field the best roster overall, which DG did an amazing job of doing without jeopardizing the future. Seahawks won their SB with a terrible offensive line, the majority of teams have poor OL play, even many top teams. They don't seem to whine like the losers here about LT all the time. Watch Hurney trade Butler for a LT then we have to let Star walk because that LT is expensive and you losers are complaining about our run defense and DT depth.

People act like top 15 LT's hit free agency on the regular. It's just not reality.

To act like Oher having his career cut short because of concussions is an indictment on Gettleman is laughable at best, but what're ya gonna do besides laugh. Meanwhile lets ignore that Gettleman brought in Trai Turner, Norwell, Moton and Williams. Sure not all of those guys are probowlers, but the Panthers certainly are not the Seahawks in terms of ignoring their oline.

Oher was never meant to be a permanent solution at LT anyway. Most people thought we traded terrible LT's with Tennessee and even some thought we got the worse end of the switch initially.

Even so, Oher didn't come along until after we had to endure several years of watching Newton get sacked behind the likes of Byron Bell and Nate Chandler. So you can spare me with this warped sentiment that this is somehow a new issue all over again. It's always been an issue, and it's only going to continue.

You guys don't need my posts to be reminded. You saw it yourselves in HD after Newton was hurt after that sack against Buffalo. How long are we going to continue this groundhog day routine before you stop blaming me for discussing it, and start getting to the root of the problem?

Cam getting hurt has two roots. Shula, and his own style of play. Lots of teams over the years have had sh*t OL and the QBs didn't get killed. Our OL hasn't even been close to the worst in the league the past few years. It was in '14 but since '15 we haven't been much below average at any point, and were actually top 5-10 in '15. You are just completely ridiculous with Cam. You won't admit it but everyone here knows that you'd rather Cam put up gaudy stats like Brees, never got touched like him and had a defense that allowed 40+ every week and the team sucked. Go start a Cam forum and gaggle over him there.

That's what you tell yourself to justify our tackle situation???

Bahahahaha

I also wouldn't be calling anyone a "loser" if I were you...

I've been round and round about Shula and his inadequacies as our OC here for years. But that doesn't change the fact that we've barely managed to scratch the surface at fielding a capable OL the last five years.

Also, I don't know exactly what you're on about in the rest of that post but it's complete bullshit. I don't care if Newton just hands it off the entire game as long as the team wins.

It was one year. 2014. Which was partially due to Gross' retirement which DG didn't know whether he'd retire or not until that offseason and had only been there for a year anyways, hardly time to prepare for that.
