Ryan Kalil out Sunday

Ryan Kalil is not participating in practice today.

 

If a player doesn't practice on Friday, he doesn't play on Sunday.

 

At least Larsen has had a week's notice this time.

 

Update: now listed as officially out on Sunday.

I'd be more concerned if this wasn't the saints. It's not good news but at least if he is going to miss a game it's the game where we play the worse defense in the NFL

Hate to say it, but we gotta find Ryan's long term replacement this coming off season. Really hope Larsen looks a lot better out there with a full week of practice with the starters.

Remember when just a few years ago people were entertaining the idea that Ryan Kalil was old and overpaid and we could just cut him and move on?

Meanwhile we've been looking for a left tackle for the last 6 years.

It's a discussion about our OL, and we're gonna keep having the discssion when Kalil hangs it up. Let's hope we don't end up searching for a decent center for 5 years like we have after Gross retired.

If you don't like the existence of this discussion, maybe you should call up JR instead of complaining to me for talking about it. It isn't going away anytime soon.

The Colts' defense is also atrocious. They were #30 in the NFL last year in points allowed. SF was dead last.
