this is one thing you've got to think about. it's easy to go overboard on this. the next ring she puts on her finger and the matching one you put on yours matters more. don't overthink this. i'll say the same thing about the wedding, too. i think my wife and i spent less than $1000, had a couple hundred people there and the whole ceremony only lasted about 20-30 minutes. 16 years later we still have people talking about how beautiful it was and that it was one of the best and most memorable they'd ever been to.

point is, it's easy to get carried away with this whole thing. i know a lot is on the GF because usually this is like a life long dream that she may have even been planning how she'd like it to happen from the time she was 12 or 13, but in the end that ring is just a thing and that wedding ceremony is just a blip in time. a memorable blip, but just a blip. you may know this, but what requires the most investment is what happens after all that is over.

guys look for that perfect ring and girls look for that perfect ceremony, but really the only thing that matters is what you put into it afterwards.

My wife and I both have actually switched to Qalo rings as daily wearers... Safe, comfortable, and totally worth it.

Over time, they do stretch a little bit.

But yeah, eff all that noise about spending hundreds or even thousands on a "symbol" of your love. That's ridiculous.
