A huge pet peeve for me is when quarterbacks just take the sack on fourth down instead of throwing it up in the air somewhere. Risky, yes, but something is better than nothing.

Agree, but Donald came though virtually unblocked. He damn near beat the ball to Hoyer. That play never had a chance.

The Niners should've never seen that 4th down because that OPI call was horseshit.

What a terrible call by the refs. Also sad that two poorly talented teams can score twice the points of the Panthers.

Uh, they're not poorly talented by any stretch of means.

49ers. Garcon is legit. Goodwin's a real good deep threat. HC is an offensive mastermind. Their front seven is decent. Kittle's a solid rookie TE. Hyde is still a good RB.

LA Rams. Goff proving he needs better coaching. Looking real poised. Sammy Watkins is a top tier receiver year after year. Todd Gurley is a top tier runningback with good supporting cast. Their o-line isn't half bad. Defense has Aaron Donald.

McVay's also a dang offensive genius.

So yeah. They're not poorly talented. LA Rams can be and are a tough contender.

Every NFL team has some talent. They looked good tonight because both are not good still maybe I'm wrong and we dodged a bullet by beating SF early.

Agree and would absolutely love them to take the west from the Seahawks.

No it was the Seahawks who dodged the bullet last week.  A BS non roughing the passer on Sheldon Richardson and a Wilson 3rd and 7 miracle were the difference in a dead even game at Seattle. I watched it in its entirety, trust me.

Rams fans reacting the same way we did against Buffalo, except for opposite reasons.

Rams freaking out about their defense, but glad their offense carried them thru a scary game.

Panthers freaking out about offense, but glad their defense carried them thru a scary game.

Both are having high hopes for each of their underperforming squads to improve. Both are being highly critical in some areas.
