GM AJ Smith: Chargers “soft and bewildered”

Kevin Greene

Recommended Posts

This thread is about the Chargers.

Someone made a comment about a player you love on the Chargers.

You respond as you usually do with an insult about a player you don't like who plays for the team you are a fan of. You brought his name up, out of nowhere and having to do nothing with this topic... no one else.

So ...que?

Just as you so wonderfully chirp up about knowing more about the Patriots or Browns than anyone else I too chirp up when I see the same ole crap people bring up without knowing the guy.

Insult him as a QB all you want ....insult him as a person bc what you see on tv is the weakness

Was this your way of saying that you made a mistake? It sure seems that way.

This isn't an arguement, you can't back your side up, and I can.

I don't love the mouthing that players do, but it is a part of some of their "game", it's a part of Rivers' game. It's the only part of his game that I don't like.

But like I have said before, in this thread. He is not a whiner, nor a bitcher, nor a bad person, as you have stated.

You are wrong.

Christ, I can easily tell you're a Rivers fan.Thing he has said:

1.) I've already stated what he said about Ellis Hobbs and the Pats

2.) Making fun of Cutler on Christmas Eve when the Broncos couldn't convert the 4th down and lost. Rivers then goes on to say "Merry Christmas Jay!"

3.) He started in on Colt fans after the Chargers beat them.

4.) He's told fans of opposing teams at Qualcomm stadium to shut up.

5.) The Raiders game this year. Taunting a guy on an offsides call.

6.) In 2007, during the Vikes game, he ran his mouth CONSTANTLY to Darren Sharper even though the Vikings were running all over the Chargers.

I wasn't saying I made a mistake. I was trying to be the bigger guy and just accept that we both have different views. Obviously, you're too stupid to figure that whole thing out. Once again, as I've stated, we have different opinions (ie, not the same) about Philip Rivers. You don't know his motivations for what he does any more than I do. I simply don't like him and his style. Get used to it. You'll never change that.

Ok, I've formed an opinion on you....you are a frat-tastic douchebag who lived with a bunch of guys in the ole Greek house on Frat row but I'm the one taking it in the ass.....lol

Totally bro! And we used to beat our pledges with paddles. And make them elephant walk with each others' dicks in their hands. You have NO idea how much Nattie Light I've drank while I've waited for the roofies I put in that stupid sorority slut's mixed drink to kick in!

So all of that makes him a whiner and a bitcher. Got it. We certainly do have different definitions of the words.

You sir, have an issue. Not sure what it is, but there is certainly one there.

By the way, I am a fan of Rivers, have been for a long time, but I would put you in your place many times over again if you called players bad people, because they talk trash. That is foolish.

Oh, and I love the stupid jab, that was a good one.

You have an issue with the way Rivers' plays the game...fine.

You also stated that he is a whiner, and a bitcher...not fine. He is neither, and you can't come up with ANY statements of whining, nor bitching.

Please go away.

Oh, well, yessa' massa'. You wanting me git you the newspaper on the way out?

Don't see the need for personal attacks here :)

No worries, whatever makes him feel better. It isn't like I haven't heard that stuff before. Everyone thinks fraternities are like that. :-)

Smitty is constantly jawing at the opponent and playing with a chip on his shoulder. There is no friendly demeanor game day. You think the row boat was good sportsmanship?

It's part of what makes him great.

I'll take that...and Rivers over a lifeless slug like Peppers at game time.

Oh I completely understand KG, but these other people...

...they think white players need to be saints of some kind of squeaky clean standard.

1) I'm sure people think Delhomme is whiny as well (I believe crybaby is the term often used)

2) I'd take Rivers in a heartbeat over Delhomme any day of the week.

Back to topic...

Why is the GM calling out the team? Am I the only one that finds that odd?
