Saints could be without Sterling Moore

Quote

Veteran cornerback Sterling Moore suffered a pectoral injury during Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots, according to a source.

It’s currently unclear if he will be able to play. Moore is seeking additional opinions to determine the severity of the injury.

Moore served as the third cornerback on Sunday to start the game. He played 32 snaps during the contest. If he is unable to play moving forward, New Orleans will likely continue using De’Vante Harris in a prominent role.

The Saints are currently without cornerback Delvin Breaux, who was placed on injured reserve due to a broken fibula. He will not be eligible to return to action until November.

The Saints worked out cornerbacks Bradley Sylve, Demontre Hurst and Trovon Reed on Tuesday, according to a source.
