Glorified Preseason Games?

Just the general vibe on these boards... I've never seen this fanbase so upset to be 2-0. You would think we lost yesterday.

You've never seen a fanbase have the OC on a team call 7 step drops against a historic defense with rollerstake joes at OL in the SB either.

We know we are wasting Cam and a good defense as when we play a team with all 3 phases we are likely to do what we always end up doing and it sucks. We know that we are 1 good OC and some OL players away from being 12 win team easily for years....and it sucks because it won't change because of all things we fired one of the best GMs since he started here...you can stack Daves drafts up to anyone since he took over and he's in the top 5 easily but we remove him and keep a perpetual failure.

Hurney is our GM...rofl
Richardson is the meddler we all thought he was but it's been outed by himself now and these things suck regardless.

We're happy for 2-0 and on a message board you expect some discussion...why would anyone post if all are going to say. "welp we're 2-0 nothing to improve see ya next game"

Edit: even Hurney himself knows he's a moron GM and doesn't know poo about football...but anyone would take that check. Richardson doing the good ole boy bullshit and is the type of man to keep a beta around just to feel stronger himself.

It is possible we're holding back on the new offensive bits but not because of a tactical advantage. Because of the shoulder surgery, Cam missed valuable reps during training camp and may not have the timing down unlike most of the other players on offense. Samuel is in the same boat which is probably why he isn't that involved yet. What was quite unfortunate is that we had to face McDermott and his Bills so early in the season when our tendencies on offense is to be rather rusty in September.

That said, these explanations can only hold for so long.

I think this is wishful thinking.  Cam will take time to shake off the rust.  By the time he's warmed up I fear he'll be hampered by injury.  CMC and Samuel have yet to get on track.  The impact of losing Olsen is going to show up in the box score for the next 9 weeks, and Matt Kalil at LT is just not good enough.  We'll be sailing choppy waters for the immediate future, I'm afraid.

So heres why.  2-0 yes but agaisnt very bad teams, we fail the eye test in a big way, we just look like a poster child team destined for a wild card berth to only go one and done..

I tell you right now, JR fugged up so bad bringing back Hurney that anything less than a SB appearance is unacceptable..

If its a choice of 10-6 and just a wild card berth and go one and done BUT as a result its enough to keep Ron, this coaching staff and Hurney around, then fug that.

I would much rather go 2-14 and clean house top bottom and get rid of Hurney and this coaching staff once and for all. After JR did what he did with firing Gman, its SB or bust.. NO EXCEPTIONS

Dumbest sh*t I've ever read....

20-25% of the season pissed away before we start playing well. I'm tired of that poo!

In 2015? We won our first three games. Sure we barely scraped them out, but we won them. We didn't start to show out till week 4. And even then, we had to face that  tough test in Seattle and a close game against the Colts before we started to take off.

point is... we didn't waste 20-25% of our season.
