"Woke up with a bad neck"

I gotta side with Ryan.  As a center you need your head on a swivel.  If you can't turn your head you're gonna get killed or get someone killed.

I've woken up with the snag in my neck.  It is brutal, every turn, cough, sneeze etc is a jolt of blinding pain.

Only thing that works is time and alternating hot and cold.

I love how spoiled this fanbase is when it comes to center play. You'd think a game like yesterday would make everyone realize an all-pro center doesn't grow on trees.

In case you didn't realize, Larsen played just like a backup. Not exactly the best performance at all.

Kalil does more and is far more the man than any of you twats on the internet are. Try blocking 300+ linemen and butting heads every snap with a sore neck and see how fast you end up in the hospital.

Tell your old man to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes!

Ryan Kalil is tough as nails... he would not miss a game over something trivial.  The fact that he suited up at all in case of emergency earns respect from me.  And yes, I know the offensive line was a disaster in the 2nd Half, but that wasn't all on Larsen.  Putting Kalil in wouldn't have magically fixed Matt Kalil or Darryl Williams.

I am worried about this being his last year though.  Kalil is getting up in age, and he doesn't strike me as someone who will just play for the money and will hang it up once he believes he is a liability or can't stay healthy.  Kalil has a lot of interests outside of football, too.  We have been spoiled by the high level of play we have had at Center, but Tyler Larsen isn't garbage.

The Bills D-Line is legit, and yes, Larsen did struggle some yesterday.  If Larsen plays again next week and struggles against the Saints, I will be worried.  With the upcoming extension for Norwell, Larsen will be our starting center next year if Kalil retires.

Everyone has pointed out that our defense will be challenged a lot more over the coming weeks with the Saints, Patriots, Lions, & Eagles upcoming.

The flip side is none of those opposing defenses will probably present the offensive line as much of a challenge outside of maybe the Eagles.  The offensive line had a bad outing yesterday, but I'm still hopeful this unit is going to gel and be better overall than last year.

I have woken up with a bad neck before.  That is what the analysts said it was.  If it is something more serious, then he needs to take all the time he needs to get better.

So, going forward, are we not allowed to comment on threads about players blowing our their ACL's or tearing ligaments if we've never sustained those specific injuries?

Kalil is getting dinged up...this is a ding.  As you age the body doesn't heal as quickly...it just doesn't and this will likely start to happen more often with Kalil, TD, Olsen, etc....just part of life.

You can discuss anything you like, I'm just saying that it's easy to understand why someone with an ACL tear isn't playing, but not so obvious when someone has a labrum tear (Cam last 4 games last season), or a annular tear in the lower back.
