Eh... it was transparent but 90% of the time it works. Stewart loves to do leaps like that and if the blocker did his job he would have gotten it. The 2nd down call was awful but if Cam did his job on 3rd we wouldn't be complaining right now.

I was more offended by the 2nd and 1 sweep and the 2nd and 10 read-option with McCaffery at QB. Those tow calls were absurdly idiotic and made me probably the most angry I've been at Shula his entire time here.

I said it last season, I said last week and I will say it again our running game is terrible. We are currently bottom 4 in ypc and that's with Cam. Our line is awful,  Stewart is slower than molasses and Mccaffrey can't break a tackle to save his life

Got nothing to say to you but that you were right.

The running game is a huge concern at the moment.

Norwell played very poorly...which is rare for him.  It was bad enough having poor tackle play...but when your reliable guard plays poorly with a backup center, its a recipe for disaster.

TBH, Norwell got beat a couple of times against the 9'ers too. He needs to pick it up if he wants to be extended.

Funny we are talking about poor execution which I said all morning. Where are all the folks saying it was all play calling and Shula fault.  Interesting how film supports what I have said all the time. Missing Kalil and poor execution killed the running game and a big part of our gameplan.

The guys who were getting beat most often were starters not backups. What kind of adjustments can you make when starters are getting beat and you are already using short passes and misdirection. Easy to say.......
