I do watch a ton of games at all levels like I was at the game yesterday.  15 seconds is guaranteed due to the mike going off at that point. Cam likely had more many times on many plays. I was watching the game not watching the clock. How about you?

Then you would understand why Cam called two time outs and pointed to his helmet. It was because Shula got cut off by the NFL. Idk if he waits to see what the defense does or what but it takes way too much time. Like more time than any other team I've seen.

He literally hit Stewart right in the hands on a checkdown pass. If Stewart put his hands down Cam would've glued that ball into his eye hole

Not at all  Maybe TV didn't show  it but Cam replaced the helmet and the second time they tweaked it. Took em a while to find it the first time it seemed. The mike wasn't working properly.

I'll concede that Shula runs an error free offense. 1 throw, 1 catch shouldn't make a huge difference in winning or losing especially to inferior teams.

Talking heads will go gaga over pretty much anything when you're winning.  Heck, Chip Kelly was going to revolutionize the game at one point.

If you come up with something that looks great for a season or so, you're not brilliant, you're lucky.

When you can continually adapt to stay ahead of the game, then you're brilliant.

If you wanna say Shula is brilliant, you pretty much have to adopt an "everybody's fault but his" strategy, something which rarely has much if any validity.

I agree. It only takes one successful deep ball for defenses to start respecting it. Through two games we haven't even tried it. I don't know if thats by design or if Cams shoulder is fully ready yet but it is well known that Cam is one of the most accurate deep field throwers in the league. When defenses realize he's not throwing that ball then it takes away a lot of the fear. We have to make people nervous again

Even if that's true you still can't explain why it takes so long. 15 seconds is not enough time to adjust the line, motion, and audible if need be.

The panthers haven't ran a variation out of the wildcat since like 2012 and Shula is still flummoxed as to how teams know its going to be a direct snap to the RB and he's going to try and run through the 1 hole

In addition to all of this, I probably would've had to ban myself yesterday if Cam was seriously hurt after seeing myself making a thread trashing Gettleman for installing turnstiles at tackle to get a once in a lifetime talent like Cam destroyed, and how that was Gettleman's lasting legacy.  Lol...  happy he wasn't seriously hurt.

But yes, offensively, Shula is killing us.  I'd also like to add, the worst part about all of it is that one huge chunk of our difficulties could be solved by simply getting the plays in quicker.  The problem with the blitzes isn't so much the hits, although they certainly do matter, but i think the bigger issue is that getting to the line so late with no time on the clock doesn't allow Cam to survey the field or make audible as often as needed...  it usually causes the offense to rush and then execution gets sloppy - guys miss blocks, rushers go free, Cam can't see where the free runner is coming from because they're able to time the blitz with the playclock...  it is just maddening.

I say let Cam run the hurry up again...  it was how we were at our best in 2015.  Enough trying to show us how uncreative you are Shula.  Let a pro handle it, and give Cam the keys to the offense again.

The problem with Shula is there are NEVER any easy throws to get Cam into a rhythm. It's always "bail my ass out Cam" long 15 yd throws EVERY TIME, and it's been like that ever since Shula was promoted. How many of you have watched Matt Ryan the past 2 years in that offense? Do you see just how many easy throws he gets a game because of GREAT play design and movement? How long is it going to take this stupid ass franchise to figure out Shula is hot garbage and will never be a competent OC?

CBS literally said there was a malfunction with the helmet.
